New Construction of a Business Park
On behalf of the Zweckverband Interkommunaler Gewerbepark Thiersheim-Wunsiedel, a basic market-oriented layout was drawn up as the basis for the development plans of two new industrial parks in Thiersheim and Wunsiedel. The concept for the new high-tech – commercial locations had to be sufficiently flexible in terms of space planning and at the same time provide clear organizational structures that meet the quality of an attractive innovation location. For this purpose, arterial roads were created as main development axes, dividing the building areas into plots of different sizes. The individual construction fields are designed so that there are numerous options for assembling areas as well as the realization of different development options. The green spaces and open spaces are rhythmically structured by tree-like green areas. The Innovation Park is intended to significantly contribute to CO² reduction by minimising primary energy demand in the future, which is why facade greening in the form of vertical gardens, the construction of photovoltaic systems on the roofs, the geothermal use of groundwater, the use of air-heat pumps and geothermal probes are to be stipulated in the bylaws.
